COMMENT:
Former LSU football star, Lyman White owned his own restaurant and
was known for his wings. Lyman has now passed his delicious wing
recipe on to me.
INGREDIENTS:
- 1 dozen chicken wings
- oil for deep frying
- 1/2 tsp season salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp Zatarain's Creole Seasoning
- 1/2 stick of margarine, melted
- 2 cups of Louisiana Hot Sauce
METHOD:
Heat oil in Fry Daddy to 350 degrees. Season chicken with salt,
black pepper, garlic powder and Zatarain's Creole Seasoning. Put
chicken in oil and let fry for 12-15 minutes. In a separate bowl,
mix margarine and Louisiana Hot Sauce. Take chicken out of oil and
put into the hot sauce bowl and mix thoroughly. |
